Head Coach - Varsity

STEPHANIE BAILEY

We are thrilled to welcome back Stephanie Bailey as the head coach of Eastlake Fastpitch! Stephanie was the head coach from 2014-2021. During her tenure at Eastlake, the Wolves took home the KingCo championship in 2018 & 2019, a 2019 second place finish at WesKing Districts, and state tournament appearances in 2018 and 2019. The teams she lead were also Academic State Champions 2016-2018.

 

Stephanie is an Eastlake graduate and won the WIAA Fastpitch State Championship in 2008. She also played four years of collegiate softball pitching for Western Washington University, where she still holds the record for "most consecutive scoreless innings."

 

Stephanie is currently a school counselor at Eastlake and prides herself in building strong relationships with students and players. She looks forward to integrating team culture, vision, respect and fun into the program.

Stephanie is also the assistance coach of Eastlake Slowpitch.

Assistant Coach - Varsity

BRIAN FOX

We are also welcoming back Brian Fox as assistant coach of Eastlake Fastpitch. Brian has been coaching fastpitch softball since 1990, winning multiple USA Washington State championships and playing nationally as a club coach. 

​

Brian was also the assistant coach with Coach Bailey from 2014-2021, winning the 2018 & 2019 KingCo championship and making state tournament appearances in 2018 & 2019.

​

Brian retired from The Boeing Company in 2010, where he was an engineer and manager. He was pulled out of retirement to become the Chief Engineer of Large Commercial Aircraft for National Technical Systems, where he officially retired in 2015. 

​

Coach Fox currently is the head coach of Eastlake Slowpitch, a program he founded in 2017.

Assistant Coach - Varsity

SAM COLLINS

We are thrilled to announce that Sam Collins will be joining the coaching staff for the 2024 season!

​

Sam is a native of Sammamish and an Eastlake High School graduate. She played competitive travel and high school softball for over 10 years and has had extensive training in hitting and fielding work. She was known for her powerhouse swing at the plate! 

​

At Eastlake, Sam was awarded "Most Inspirational" player for three seasons and was team captain, helping the team to the state championship in 2008. She continues now to play in adult softball leagues.

​

Sam is excited to bring her positive energy to the program and help create a fun, cohesive, and competitive culture!

Head Coach - Junior Varsity

CHRIS DILL

Chris Dill, who brings a wealth of softball knowledge along with many years of coaching experience, will be joining the coaching staff for the 2024 season as our head coach of Junior Varsity!

​

Chris boasts over 13 years of coaching experience across all age levels, from recreational leagues to high-level travel softball programs. His expertise spans the full spectrum of skill development, nurturing athlestes from their foundational steps to advanced levels. 

​

Chris specializes in fostering a positive, encouraging environment that leads to athletic and personal growth, both on and off the field. He prides himself on effective positive communication and is very excited to be a part of the Eastlake Fastpitch coaching staff.

Assistant Coach - Junior Varsity

LINDSAY ELIZONDO

Lindsay Elizondo will be joining the coaching staff for the 2024 season as our volunteer assistant coach of Junior Varsity!

 

Lindsay grew up playing competitive softball at the high school and travel ball level. She was first team All-Kingco sophomore through senior year. Lindsay was an ‘All-Star Times’ player of the year her senior year, and got recruited to play college ball for Dickinson State University. She was 1st Team all four years and MVP her junior year.

 

Lindsay started doing lessons and coaching after right after college. In 2015 to 2019, she was the Head Coach at Skyline High School, where she was awarded Coach of the Year. She led her team to a Kingco Championship and 7th in state. She has coached different travel ball teams and supported over 38 student-athletes who went on to play collegiate softball.

 

Lindsay is a special education teacher and has a beautiful three-year old daughter with her husband Justin.
