

Head Coach - Varsity

Christian McKone is in her second year as the head coach for Eastlake High School. She is a Washington native, growing up in the area and attending Issaquah High School for freshman and sophomore years, and Bonney Lake High School for junior and senior years. She was a four-time Varsity letter earner, 3-time all-state player, Offensive MVP sophomore year, and all-area Player of the Year nominee senior year. She also received the National Scholar Athlete Award from the Army in 2012. After high school, she played Division I softball at the United States Military Academy at West Point and then Division I softball at South Dakota State University. During her freshman year at West Point, she earned 2nd team all-league honors, as well as all-tournament team honors at the Patriot League Tournament, which led the team to the 2013 regional tournament at the University of Texas. She then transferred to South Dakota State, where she broke and currently still holds the single season stolen base record. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in School Counseling. After graduating, she moved back to the PNW where she works at Mount Si High School as a school counselor, worked as a softball trainer at Softball University, and has coached several softball teams in the last four years. She coached with the 16U Acers Lott, The WA Firecrackers, and at Issaquah High School before taking the job at Eastlake High School. Go Wolves!

Assistant Coach - Varsity
MORGAN FOSTER
Morgan Foster is in her second year as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Eastlake. She is from California but moved to the PNW about five years ago. Morgan played Varsity softball at Notre Dame High School in Riverside, CA before moving overseas. While overseas, she played for two travel teams in Sydney, Australia, leading one in home runs. Morgan ended her high school career in Singapore, where she played for the Singapore American School Varsity softball team. She attended Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where she walked on as a first baseman for the Division II school. She graduated from California Baptist University in Riverside, California with a Bachelors degree in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations. She attended law school at the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she continued to play co-ed softball during her free time. As a volunteer, Morgan is a coach for the Challenger Baseball program out of North Bend. Morgan currently works at Talon Private Capital, a commercial real estate investment firm in Bellevue as in-house counsel.

Assistant Coach - Varsity
MICHAEL IVERS
Michael Ivers is in his first year as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Eastlake. He is an experienced fastpitch softball coach and official. In California, he served as a head coach for fifteen years for travel and All Star teams. Since moving to the PNW, Michael has served as both head coach, special advisor, and umpire for fastpitch programs in Lake Stevens, Redmond, Kirkland, and Sammamish. During his playing days, Michael was an infielder, outfielder, and catcher, as well as the league’s top hitter. He considers himself a player development specialist, strategist, and team-builder – several of the girls he coached later played for D1 and D2 college softball programs. Six years ago, Michael moved to this area after a lengthy career in Silicon Valley high-tech. He is a former teacher at Tesla STEM High (LWSD), as well as a Diversity and Inclusion consultant, and the owner of Ivers Home Electrical Solutions, a residential electrical services business. Michael graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior. He then attended graduate school at Cal State Dominguez Hills where he studied Quality Systems. Michael is enthused to be involved with Eastlake’s softball program and anticipates an outstanding season for the team.
